Op-die-Plaas Kamp is situated on a beautiful working farm named Sandrivier, surrounded by the Klein Swartberg Mountain on 1 side and the Elandsberg on the other. The farm is also located 8 km from the famous Seweweekspoort, which allows guests a breathtaking drive through unspoilt nature, over more than 20 river crossings and on a well-maintained gravel road.
The campsites are all situated near a dam with nice grassy spots and lovely large gum trees. There is no electricity in the campsite, and warm water is generated by gas geysers. The communal ablution block has separate ladies and gents facilities. Both fitted with showers, toilets and basins.
Wood and ice is available. Braai packs and fresh farm bread is also available on request.
Activities on our farm include milking the cows, driving with the farmer to check on the sheep and cattle in the field, or swimming in the farm dam to pass the time.
Many photo moments with all the bird-life on the dam, mountains all around, horses roaming the farm freely. Black Bass in the dam at the camp site. Mountain bikes and 4×4’s are welcome. The road up and over Elandsberg to Elandskloof is for the more adventurous.
