Rooiberg Lodge

Rooiberg Lodge offers you the choice of luxury cottages or loft rooms in the heart of the Assegaay Bosch Nature Reserve. Visitors can wine and dine in our homely restaurant overlooking the watering holes and choose from an excellent selection of locally produced wines and ports. Enjoy the authentic African splendour by sighting an array of bird life, plant life, and wildlife.

Accommodation comprises a 1-bedroom Chalet, 2-bedroom Chalet and Loft dorm-style rooms suited to accommodate up to 57 guests. All units come equipped with comfortable beds, a bathroom and self-catering facilities.

On-site facilities include a swimming pool, a braai area, pets by arrangement, Wi-Fi, conferencing facilities and secure parking. On-site activities include bird watching, cycling, game viewing, mountain biking and swimming. The water on the farm is sourced from natural springs and is of the highest purity. The area is free of Malaria, Bilharzia and Yellow-fever.

You are welcome to fly in with your plane. The lodge’s landing strip is available for your use within the Assegaay Bosch Nature Reserve.
